Modern Cycle - Abstract
A series of works begun when I was living in Italy, in the eighties. They usually move in the sphere of Symbolism, in an abstractive mood, playing with the transfiguration of the form. Paintings, mainly of an intellectual context, which give me the pleasure to exploit the power of colors and forms at their utmost. A “game” with the effect of the scheme color-shape, on a psychological level. Escaping from my usual way of expression into this Cycle, would be defined in literary terms, as the passing from a novel to a poem.
