The Allegory of the Zodiac Circle
A painting based on medieval beliefs, when everything related to astrology and the signs of the zodiac was considering to be a medium of communication with the forces of Darkness. In this painting, we see always in accordance with medieval conceptions, some of the signs-wombs, which appear to nourish and finally to give form to Lucifer amid the crowd of his worshippers.
